In light of the growing public health concerns around the COVID-19, we announce the postponement of the AJ Small Projects to a date later in the year.
As the concern over the spread of the coronavirus in the UK continues to escalate, we realise that the responsible thing to do is postpone the event to later in 2020 when we hope that this crisis will have passed. Our participants’ health and safety, and that of our own teams, is our number one priority, and we are sure that you would agree.
This was a difficult decision to make, but we are now able to switch our sights to a replacement date which is to be announced as soon as possible.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions, and we do apologise for any inconvenience caused.
AJ Small Projects last chance to enter
Now in its 25th year, the AJ Small Projects award, in association with Marley, celebrates completed projects with a contract value of £250,000 and under.
The award was launched in 1996 to give much-deserved recognition to schemes with a price tag of less than £150,000.
Although the budget has increased over the years, the intention of the award remains the same: ‘From home extensions to restaurants, offices to shops, architects all over the country are busy working on projects that may not make the headlines but nevertheless give a real indication of the design talent in Britain today.’
All the projects entered for the award will be featured in the AJ Buildings Library with the 20 shortlisted projects published in the AJ and displayed in an exhibition. The winner of AJ Small Projects will receive £2,500.
Deadline: 9 February 2020
